Dick Johnson began his investigative career in 1973 as a rookie in the Pennsylvania State Police. After being a road Trooper for ten years, he broke into the Criminal Investigation Division. After six years of investigating everything from smashed mailboxes to Homicide, and everything in between, he was promoted to Corporal. He was transferred to the Bureau of Professional Responsibility where he worked as an Investigator for the Internal Affairs Division for the next four years. In 1993 he transferred to the State’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation where he was a supervisor in the Organized Crime Division, until his retirement from the Pennsylvania State Police in 1998.
Shortly after his retirement in 1998, he obtained his Private Investigators License in Lancaster County Pennsylvania and started Johnson Investigations. Since that time, Dick has been involved in numerous investigations throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and Delaware.
Some successful investigations have led to finding children in third world countries that had been taken from Pennsylvania by a parent who did not have legal custody. Investigated internal and external theft and fraud cases for large and small companies, preparing the cases for law enforcement to pursue prosecution. Located persons and information for Attorneys, Insurance Companies and private citizens. Conducted Security Audits for large Corporations, planted hidden surveillance cameras and conducted covert video surveillance.
